Benjamin Zander
“He plays, lectures, spins tales, and pushes his audience to laugh, cry, and sing,” says Polly LaBarre of Fast Company. This is not a typical description of a lecture on leadership, but then there’s nothing typical about Benjamin Zander. Ben has been the conductor of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra for more than 32 years and has been a faculty member of the New England Conservatory since 1966, where he conducts the Youth Philharmonic Orchestra and has led the group on 11 international tours. In an electrifying presentation, he uses the metaphor of the orchestra and his lifetime of experience conducting and lecturing to unleash the possibilities and creativity of his audiences and their organizations.
